Model Application Privacy Notice and Explicit Consent

1. Data Controller

Pursuant to Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), the personal data you share within the scope of your model application is processed by Talha Çoruh ("Fotipoti") as the data controller, as described below.

2. Applicants Aged 18 and Over Only

Model applications may only be submitted by individuals who are at least 18 years old. Your date of birth is processed solely to verify that you are 18 or older. Applications found to belong to persons under 18 are not evaluated; such data is not processed or is deleted. Minors must not use this form.

3. Personal Data Processed

• Identity: full name, date of birth (for age verification), and gender if you state it.
• Contact: e-mail, phone, city, and social media accounts if provided.
• Physical attributes: height and, if you provide them, body measurements, shoe/clothing size, hair and eye color.
• Visual: the photographs contained in the portfolio (PDF) you attach to your application.
• Professional experience: your statements about prior modeling experience.
• Transaction security: an irreversible hash of your IP address to prevent abuse of the application. Your raw IP address is not stored.

4. Purposes of Processing

• Evaluating your application and determining suitability,
• If accepted, including you in the model pool and contacting you for shoots/projects,
• Verifying the 18-and-over requirement,
• Ensuring the security of the application process and preventing abuse,
• Fulfilling legal obligations and protecting rights in potential disputes.

5. Legal Basis

Your personal data is processed based on your explicit consent pursuant to Article 5/1 of the KVKK. Your application data, including portfolio images and physical attribute data, is processed within the scope of the explicit consent you provide through this form. You may withdraw your consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

6. Method of Collection

Your data is collected electronically, directly from you, through the model application form on fotipoti.com.

7. Transfers

Your data may be processed by the cloud infrastructure and service providers (hosting/storage) used to store and process your application. As these providers'' servers may be located abroad, your data may be transferred abroad in accordance with your explicit consent and the KVKK provisions on cross-border transfers (appropriate safeguards under the Regulation dated 10 July 2024). Your data may be disclosed to legally authorized public authorities upon request. It is not otherwise shared with third parties or sold.

8. Retention Period

If your application is unsuccessful, your data is deleted or anonymized within at most 1 (one) year. If you are accepted into the pool, it is retained for the duration of the relationship and for the periods required by applicable legislation. If you withdraw your consent, your data that is not subject to a legal retention obligation is deleted or anonymized.

9. Security and Ethics Statement

Fotipoti will never request underwear, nude or sexually suggestive images during the application process, and no fee is charged for applying. If you encounter such requests, please disregard them and report them to destek@fotipoti.com.

10. Your Rights as a Data Subject

Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, request information, learn the purpose of processing, request correction of incomplete or incorrect data, request deletion or destruction, request restriction of processing, and withdraw your explicit consent. You may submit your requests via the "KVKK Data Subject Application Form" or through destek@fotipoti.com.

11. Explicit Consent

By reading this text and checking the consent box on the application form, you declare that you give your explicit consent to the processing of your personal data (including your portfolio images and physical attribute data) for the stated purposes and to its transfer abroad to the extent necessary, and that you are over 18 years old.
